Pet Tributes

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share the passing of our sweet girl, Ava, who crossed the rainbow bridge at the age of 11. Born on November 13, 2013, Ava spent every moment of her life sharing love, comfort, and quiet joy with everyone lucky enough to know her.

Ava was a true love bug-affectionate, gentle, and always ready for a cuddle. With her mellow, Eeyore-like personality, she brought a sense of calm to our lives and had a way of simply being there when you needed her most. Her soulful eyes, steady presence, and loving heart made her more than a pet; she was family.

She had a deep love for water—whether it was bath time or simply splashing around, it always made her happy. Her love of food was unmatched, and she had no trouble reminding you (with persistence and purpose) when it was time for a meal. Ava also had a special fondness for people—she adored every human she met, often choosing their company over that of other animals. Her ability to connect with others so warmly and immediately was one of her most endearing qualities.

Ava gave us eleven beautiful years filled with love, laughter, and irreplaceable memories. Though our home feels quieter without her, her spirit remains deeply woven into the fabric of our lives.

She will be missed more than words can express—but her memory will continue to bring comfort, warmth, and the gentle reminder to love fully and live simply.
