Pet Tributes

On the week of September 14, 2025, our family lost a piece of us. Huk (AKC: Huckleberry the River Runner) passed away after going on his final run. He lived a beautiful life with us. Born in May 2024, he was deeply loved during the little over a year we were blessed to have him.

Huk was a ball of energy and loved everyone he met. He would run up and down our fence line to greet passersby, jump with joy whenever someone came near, and his favorite treat was his Yak Chews. He was loved not only by us, Travis and Kaitlyn, but also by our children—Asher, Maddox, and Blakely—as well as our other dog and cat, Bella and Kaluah.

We would like to take a moment to thank those in the community who spent countless hours and days searching for him, sharing his flyer, or allowing us to post it in their businesses. We especially thank Vicky, who notified us when she found him, and our family and friends who helped bring him home. We are also grateful to Storke Funeral Home for meeting with us after hours so we could bring our sweet boy to them.
