In Loving Memory of Kaiser “Kaisey Boo Boo” King
Kaiser came into our lives at just five months old and, as many German Shepherd puppies do, arrived as nothing but ears and paws- features he would eventually grow into handsomely. He was lovingly named Kaiser, the German word for “emperor,” a fitting tribute to his human family’s last name, King.
Kaiser was a gentle and easy-going soul who rarely showed annoyance or displeasure to others be they human, canine, or feline. He loved everyone he met, especially his grandchildren, and never turned down affection or attention. But if ‘his person’, Ava, was nearby, Kaiser made sure to stay close. At the dog park, he would place himself between her and other dogs to protect her. But despite his bravery, let thunder or fireworks be heard nearby and he was looking for the nearest hiding spot!
He was preceded in death by his sister, Jane, a Jack Russell Terrier who never fully forgave him for destroying her only-child status, and his feline brother, Lucifer, who would occasionally allow himself to stoop to the level of playing with a mere canine.
Kaiser is survived by his brothers, Atticus (Golden Doodle), Beauregard (Teacup Yorkie), Taco (Beagle/Hound mix), and his feline brother Finnigan, along with a large and loving human family who miss him deeply but take comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain.
You may be gone from our sight and petting hands, but not our hearts and memories.
Rest well, dear boy.
