With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Kota, who left us peacefully at nearly 11 years old. Kota was not just a dog— she was a cherished member of our family, a loyal companion, and a devoted protector. As a German Shepherd, she embodied strength, courage, and loyalty, but those who knew her best also knew she had a heart full of love and gentleness.

Kota had a special bond with our grandchildren, whom we lovingly referred to as her “babies.” The moment anyone would mention that her babies were here, she would spring into action, running to greet them with pure joy, her tail wagging and eyes full of affection. She watched over them with a protective, loving heart, and her playful spirit brought so much happiness and comfort to everyone around her.

She loved to relax on the deck on cool days, soaking in the tranquility of her surroundings, but she was never far from the action. Kota made sure to be outside whenever the kids were playing, her watchful presence keeping them safe while sharing in their laughter and joy.

Though she wasn’t fond of thunderstorms, rain, or car rides, these were small inconveniences compared to the endless love she gave to our family. Kota was the constant, the gentle protector, and the source of so much love and happiness. Her spirit will forever remain with us.
